To run your campaign, our system needs one-time access to log into your Instagram account and establish a trusted device session. Your credentials are encrypted end-to-end — no human on our team can read your password. You can revoke access at any time from your dashboard.

Important — approve the login when you see it.
Soon after you submit, Instagram will alert you (in the app or by email) that someone is trying to log in. That's our team member connecting your account — tap “Approve” / “It was me.” The moment you approve, we switch on your engagement and your growth begins.

Never stored in plaintext. Encrypted immediately upon receipt. We use your password once to create a session cookie — then the cookie runs the campaign, not your password.

Required for 2FA handling. Use one of your 5 backup codes — each can only be used once, so we'll use it once and let you know when it's been consumed.

  1. 1 Open the Instagram app on your phone and go to your profile (tap your photo in the bottom right).
  2. 2 Tap the ☰ menu (three lines, top right) → tap Settings and privacy.
  3. 3 Scroll down and tap "Accounts Centre" → then tap "Password and security".
  4. 4 Tap "Two-factor authentication" → select your account → tap "Additional methods".
  5. 5 Tap "Backup codes". You'll see a list of 5 eight-digit codes. Copy one of them and paste it in the field above.
⚠️ If you don't have 2FA enabled: You need to enable it first — tap "Two-factor authentication" → choose "Authentication app" or "Text message" → follow the steps to enable it. Once enabled, your backup codes will appear under "Additional methods → Backup codes."

Backup codes look like: 12345678 — just the 8 digits, no spaces.

Your password and backup code are encrypted using AES-256-GCM immediately upon submission and stored in an isolated, access-controlled vault. Only the automated worker assigned to your account can decrypt and use them. No employee of Leverage can view your plaintext credentials. You can revoke access and wipe credentials from your dashboard at any time.
